With ships sinking left and right, betrayals, alliances and unexpected help from our chaos gremlins, viewers and competitors helped raise $1200.00 to transform the future of elderly cats through care, compassion and adoption at the Cattown Oakland Shelter.
Cat Town's mission is to transform the approach to saving shelter cats, reducing euthanasia nationwide. Our focus is to find great homes for cats who are considered unadoptable in the traditional rescue model. What is the traditional rescue model? Supporting young, healthy, confident cats in large numbers. This approach is crucial to saving lives, but when it’s the only tool in the toolbox, cats who don’t fit the model never receive help. Cat Town focuses on saving elderly, frightened, stressed, and sick or injured cats — and our approach proves they’re highly adoptable. We envision a world where every cat is seen as an individual deserving a second chance. Through medical care, patience, and compassion, we help cats feel safe, transforming their futures. Our innovative approach to rescue creates lasting connections that benefit both cats and the people who love them.
